One Guy's Creative Website
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 3, 2010 -- Like music? Brett Juilly's website has 26 original songs, and he adds more every week.
How about inventions? And videos? Brett created a few of those and put them on his website too.
www.CreatedByBrett.com is a showcase for the things that Brett Juilly creates. He just launched it in April.
"I'm a generally creative guy," Brett says with a grin. "I've got this backlog of things I made, plus a bunch of ideas I can develop. And I promise that once a week, every Sunday, I'll put something new on CreatedByBrett."
He laughs at himself. "That ought to light a fire under my butt."
He might add a recipe one week. The next week he'll post a new t-shirt design. A week after that, he could upload a web app to calculate 100-calorie portions of your favorite snacks.
Brett started putting his creations online a few years ago, when he submitted his solo piano CD to Pandora.com. All 18 songs got accepted, and they now have had tens of thousands of listens.
His 43 YouTube videos (youtube.com/brettfromla) didn't do nearly as well. "I think one of them is up to almost 2000 views, and that's after being on there like three years." He's laughing again. "I'm not quite an internet celebrity."
He chats with other inventors on EdisonNation.com, and posts Javascript code samples on the forums at Unity3d.com, a gaming engine. He's created videogames, card games and board games. He plans to simplify his recipe for Lemon Meringue Chocolate Chip Cookie Pies, which is currently 4 pages long and takes 2 hours to prepare.
"That's what my new site is for," he says. "I have all these ideas, and they don't fit neatly on any site that's out there. So I programmed my own.
"I guess that's kind of my style."
